Buying a slotrace track is like buying a mountainbike. You can start in with 200 Euros and also with 2,000. We don't call it a fundamental mistake to buy a bike of 200 Euros, it can be a start to enter a new hobby. But quickly you will notice that the bargain isn't really good quality. But you will know if your hobby is worth it to invest more. The same happens with a Slotfire racetrack. It's more kind of a "2.000-Euro- Bike". To create your own Slotfire racetrack, you need some time and also some advise.
We recommend the following steps:
1. "Where?", and "How big?": Where do you generally want to set up your Slotfire track? How much space can you make use of? Is there a second or a third place where you sometimes would like to assemble your track (being as Slotfire is portable)? Find out the dimensions of each of those places.
2. Use our "construction system" to design your own Slotfire racetrack. The dimensions of your track you permanently can see at the scales above and on the left. Every module measures 85 x 170 cm (33,46 x 66,93 inches). Once ready, print it out or write a pdf. Or you take a screenshot of your track design and the corresponding list of modules. You can also plan your personal track offline. Simply download the construction system, unpack it and .....go! For PC please go this way, and for the Mac this way.
3. Please send us the track(s) of your choice. Then we should talk about the details: Where do you want to put the cushions? Do you want to extend some curves with extra run-out areas for 1:24 cars? What kind of timemeasure system are you going to use (necessary information for the configuration of the connection module)? Do you have any special needs concerning the power supply and the controllers?
4. Price calculation and purchase orders. With our price calculator you can play through all variants. You can store them or you can order your favourite track. As soon as we receive your purchase order, we`ll call you to discuss all details. Then you`ll receive our confirmation of order so you can check everything once again.
